  34. I was just speaking to a friend of mines upnorth. He like my self
  35. run JNOS and the baycom modem, while we where talking he says that he's been
  36. able to get the NOS program running with L2 and TFPCX, without running AX25
  37. driver. SO, makes me wonder if anyone has been able to get ANY baycom 
  38. program that uses the TFPCX or L@ drivers to work in WIndows or OS/2.
  39. If they do work, then I can't see why running those drivers for the JNOS
  40. program won't working in those OS's(Minus Windows, beucase it's not a true OS).

  56.     I recently purchased a MFJ 1278B. On the box    
  57.     in the listing of modes it includes PACTOR.    
  58.     The manual that came with the tnc says NOTHING     
  59.     about PACTOR mode. I managed to get the mode    
  60.     set for PACTOR and receive an "n_cmd:" prompt.   
  61.     If anyone can help me out with the PACTOR     
  62.     commands I would certainly appreciate it.     
  63.     If it would involve xeroxing some pages I     
  64.     would gladly pay for the copying and postage.

  100. I had probmems on my 386 running PA0GRI or Jnos under windows.  The system
  101. would work for about 2 days of continuous operation and then NOS would
  102. cause a GPF fault in windows.   Sometimes it would run longer...sometimes
  103. shorter.  The problem was with the fact that both NOS and Windows were
  104. trying to independantly manage the computers memory.  For ocasional usage
  105. I suppose this wouldnt be a problem.  but if you intend to keep your
  106. station up 24hours/day I would not recomend it! Perhaps Novell dos 7, with
  107. multitasking would solve the problem?  Since I added the 486 I have had no
  108. need to wory about it...Nos runs fine under dos and I do my serious work
  109. on the other machine.
